Highlights More than three months after Cyclone Ditwah made landfall on 28 November 2025, its effects persist, leaving over 220, 044 people affected across the affected districts as of 17 March 2026. Thirty-one safety centers remain operational, currently sheltering 2, 833 people. These individuals come from areas classified as high-risk for landslides and are unable to return home [1]. Humanitarian needs remain significant, including the provision of sustained WASH services, access to treatment for severe acute malnutrition (SAM), continuity of learning for affected children, and protection interventions to prevent family separation and strengthen psychosocial support. UNICEF continues delivering lifesaving, multisectoral assistance: –117, 201 people reached with WASH services and supplies. –121, 253 children supported through education interventions. –14, 859 individuals reached with nutrition services – 89, 084 people supported through child protection activities, including case management, family reunification, and psychosocial support UNICEF ordered US$2. 3 million in emergency supplies, with additional supplies over US$992. 000 million in the pipeline. UNICEF requested US$7. 8 million to provide life-saving support to people affected by Cyclone Ditwah. As of 17 March, US$6 million was received and US$0. 3 million pledged, leaving a funding gap of over US$1. 5 million.
