Shia scholars to meet Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi to promote unity

Leading scholars and dignitaries of the Shia school of thought arrived in Islamabad on Sunday to meet with Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, officials said.The delegation, which includes Allama Mutahir, Allama Arif Wahidi, Wazir Kazmi, Ahmed Naqvi, Imran Ali Haideri, Syed Basharat Hussain Emami, Wajihul Hassan Kazmi, Abid Hussain, Amjad Alvi, and Zahid Abbas Kazmi, will discuss the country’s current situation, sectarian harmony, and the promotion of unity within the Muslim Ummah.Officials noted that in the present circumstances, the role of religious scholars in fostering mutual brotherhood, unity, and solidarity among Muslims is “extremely important.”
