Punjab Police have arrested over 6, 500 suspects and recovered 430, 875 kites and 11, 143 string reels across the province during an intensified crackdown on kite flying under the Anti-Kite Flying Act. A spokesperson of Punjab Police said, in Lahore alone, 2, 490 accused were arrested, 2, 363 cases regist. .
