Over 1,000 Pakistanis return from Iran amid tensions

More than 1,000 Pakistani citizens have returned home from Iran in the past three days as repatriation efforts continue amid the tense situation in the country.On Tuesday alone, 439 people crossed into Pakistan through the Taftan and Gwadar border points, according to official sources.From the Taftan border in Chagai district, 284 individuals arrived, including 223 students and 46 businessmen.After immigration and security clearance, they were sent to their respective home areas.Separately, 155 people returned via the Gabd Ramdan border post in Gwadar, including 59 students and 15 diplomats.Authorities said necessary facilities and security arrangements have been put in place for returning citizens.Federal and provincial agencies remain on alert at border points, and officials say all possible assistance is being provided.Sources confirmed that more than 1,000 Pakistani nationals have returned from Iran over the past three days, with further arrivals expected.
