Israeli media: Photo of Khamenei’s body shown to Trump, Netanyahu

Israeli media have claimed that a photograph purpotedly showing the body of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was reportedly shown to US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.According to Channel 12, the photograph shown to Trump and Netanyahu purportedly depicted Khamenei’s body.Israeli officials were also briefed on the “elimination” of Iran’s Supreme Leader.A report by Israel’s public broadcaster Kan said authorities were informed that Khamenei’s body had been recovered from the rubble of his compound.Quoting Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu, media reports also claimed that commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and senior nuclear scientists were also killed in US and Israeli strikes.According to Netanyahu, approximately 30 bombs were dropped on Khamenei’s compound.US-based Fox News also reported that American officials believe Khamenei, along with five to ten senior Iranian leaders, was killed in the Israeli attack on the compound.Israeli media claimed that Khamenei’s adviser, Ali Shamkhani, was also targeted and killed in the strikes.The reports said that Khamenei was in an underground bunker with several associates at the time of the strikes.The Iranian authorities have confirmed that Khamenei’s son, Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, and his wife Zahra Haddad Adel were killed in the strike.Iran’s Fars news agency has claimed that the son, daughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law and grandson of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei have also been killed in air strikes carried out by Israel and the United States.
