Newly appointed Republic of South Korea Ambassador to Pakistan Han Sung-ho called on Minister of State/Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Digital Media Fahd Haroon in Islamabad on Wednesday, where they discussed developments in media and digital media. Haroon welcomed Han on assuming his diplomatic responsibilities in Pakistan and conveyed his best wishes for a successful tenure, expressing confidence that his tenure would further strengthen longstanding and cordial relations between Pakistan and the Republic of South Korea. The two sides exchanged views on evolving global media trends, challenges confronting modern media platforms and the growing role of digital platforms in public engagement and communication. Han appreciated Pakistan’s initiatives in digital media and communications and expressed interest in exploring further opportunities for the exchange of experiences, knowledge and expertise between the two countries in digital media, technology and modern communications.
