The US military’s Central Command (CENTCOM) has confirmed that six American soldiers have been killed during ongoing military operations against Iran, while 18 personnel are reported to be seriously injured.In a statement posted on its X account, the United States Central Command said six US service members have died so far during the recent tensions.The command added that the remains of two previously missing personnel were recently recovered from the same location targeted by Iran during the initial attacks.According to Reuters, citing sources, the soldiers were killed at a military base in Kuwait.CENTCOM said the identities of the deceased personnel will be released 24 hours after their families are notified.It had earlier confirmed the deaths of three personnel on Sunday after operations began, and on Monday, said a fourth service member who was seriously injured during Iran’s initial attacks later died from injuries.
