Following a formal request submitted by Microsoft under the European Union’s Digital Markets Act (DMA) interoperability framework, Apple is developing cross-device copy-and-paste capabilities between iPhones and Windows PCs. Currently, an app can only access the iOS clipboard if running in the active foreground with manual prompts.
