Aleema, Uzma declared proclaimed offenders

ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Thursday declared Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman Imran Khan’s sisters Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan as proclaimed offenders in a terrorism case registered against them following the October 4, 2024 protest. ATC judge Tahir Abbas Sipra, while hearing the case, issued arrest warrants for both the sisters for not appearing before the court in a case registered against them at the Kohsar police station. The court also summoned the details of Khan’s sister’s properties. The court has declared both the sisters proclaimed offenders in the wake of the police report submitted before it. Following the PTI protest at D Chowk, the police had arrested both the sisters and later released them on bail. Copyright Business Recorder, 2026
