LAHORE – The Punjab government on Wednesday appointed Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa as the new Director General of the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), replacing Umar Abbas Mela at a time when the province remains on high alert due to the ongoing monsoon spell.
