Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar and Kazakhstan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev on Saturday agreed to intensify cooperation in trade, investment, transport and regional connectivity, energy, people-to-people exchanges, and at multilateral forums. Dar met with his Kazakh counterpart on the sidelines of the SCO CFM meeting in Kyrgyzstan, the Foreign Office spokesperson said in a statement. “The two leaders reviewed the positive momentum in Pakistan-Kazakhstan relations following the visit of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Pakistan earlier this year and reaffirmed their commitment to implementing the understandings reached, including the 37 MoUs signed during the visit, ” it was added. Foreign Minister Kosherbayev appreciated Pakistan’s efforts to advance regional peace and diplomacy. They also exchanged views on regional and global developments and reiterated their shared commitment to peace, stability, and prosperity. The Kazakh foreign minister invited Ishaq Dar to visit Kazakhstan.
