President approves Nishan-e-Khidmat for Dr Al-Issa

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari approved the conferment of the “Nishan-e-Khidmat” on Secretary General of the Muslim World League, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa. According to a statement issued by the President’s Press Wing on Sunday, the award has been approved in recognition of Dr. Al-Issa’s outstanding contributions to promoting interfaith harmony, moderation, stronger cooperation among the Muslim Ummah, and his distinguished services to the Muslim world. The President also approved the award of an honorary doctorate in Islamic Studies and International Relations to Dr. Al-Issa by the National University of Modern Languages (NUML).
