Football tournament launched to promote young talent

Kohat – MOL Pakistan Oil and Gas Company B. V. has launched the All Khyber Pakhtunkhwa MOL Football Tournament in Lachi, District Kohat, as part of its corporate social responsibility programme to promote youth development and community engagement in its operational areas. Organised by Al Masoom Football Club, Lachi, the tournament features 32 teams from across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The opening ceremony was held on Wednesday, bringing together club officials, local dignitaries and residents to mark the start of the competition. The tournament will be played on a knockout basis over the coming weeks, with the final expected to attract a large turnout from across the district. Besides providing competitive football, the event aims to encourage youth participation in healthy sporting activities and nurture emerging talent from across the province.
