EXECUTIVE SUMMARY South Sudan continues to respond to eight concurrent public health threats amid the humanitarian crisis in Sudan. Uganda’s new EVD case after 16 days without one has increased South Sudan’s importation risk, although no EVD cases have been reported, and NPHI-led BVD preparedness remains active. Cholera cases increased by 140% (329 cases), largely due to a Rubkona reporting backlog, with transmission concentrated in Unity State. The Round 2 polio SNID is ongoing in 22 of 24 target counties, while Mpox and Measles continue to show active transmission. Malaria remains below 2025 levels despite a slight week-on-week increase.
