NA set to approve Finance Bill today

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly is set to approve “The Finance Bill, 2026” today (Tuesday) after clause-by-clause consideration and incorporation of amendments. Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb will present the Finance Bill, 2026 in the Lower House of Parliament for passage. The House will approve the Bill after thorough debate and the inclusion of proposed amendments. According to sources, opposition members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) have submitted amendments to the National Assembly Secretariat for consideration in the Bill.
