Climate shocks affectingrain-fed agriculture deepen vulnerability, especially in rural areas. • Sierra Leone’s 2025 Global Hunger Index score of 28. 5 reflects a serious but improving hungersituation, highlighting both progress and the need for sustained investment in food systems and nutrition.
