ISLAMABAD: A local court on Monday adjourned proceedings in the judge-threatening case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan after being informed that the Islamabad High Court (IHC) had yet to respond to a request seeking permission to conduct the trial in jail. Civil Judge Mian Azhar Nadeem, while hearing the case, sought an update on a letter sent to the IHC during the previous hearing, requesting permission for a jail trial of the accused. Court staff informed the judge that no reply had been received from the IHC so far. The court adjourned the hearing of the case till July 13. Copyright Business Recorder, 2026
