Islamabad: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has issued an advisory warning citizens that sharing a SIM card registered in their name with another person is a criminal offence and may result in legal penalties. According to the authority, the use of a SIM card registered in someone else’s name is also considered unlawful.
