Railways Karachi holds ‘Ma’arka-e-Haq’ ceremony

KARACHI: Pakistan Railways Karachi Division organised a dignified ceremony at Karachi Cantt Station to mark the first anniversary of the successful ‘Ma’arka-e-Haq’ (Battle of Truth) operation. The event was attended by Divisional Superintendent Pakistan Railways Karachi Division, Jamshed Alam, along with railway officers and employees. On the occasion, Jamshed Alam and other railway officials participated in a solidarity walk to pay tribute to the martyrs and the armed forces of Pakistan. The ceremony highlighted national unity, patriotism, and the sacrifices rendered by the country’s armed forces. Addressing the gathering, Divisional Superintendent Jamshed Alam said the successful operation had completed one year and had significantly impacted the region. He praised the bravery, professionalism, and sacrifices of the armed forces, stating that the nation’s success in war was made possible through their dedication. He added that no country can defend itself without a strong military, while reaffirming that the entire nation, including Pakistan Railways, stands firmly alongside the armed forces for the country’s defence and stability.
