University student found dead in Faisalabad hostel, police suspect suicide

A university student was found dead in his hostel room in Faisalabad, in what police suspect to be a case of suicide. The deceased, identified as 23-year-old Amjad, was a mass communication student at Government College University Faisalabad. His body was discovered in a private hostel room and later shifted to hospital for post-mortem examination. Police said the student hailed from Jhang and was also running an online business. Preliminary investigations suggest that financial losses may have led him to take the extreme step. However, authorities stressed that further inquiry is ongoing to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
