KARACHI: Another oil tanker, carrying 55, 000 metric tons of automotive gasoline (Mogas) for domestic consumption, is set to arrive at Port Qasim on Sunday (today). According to port officials, MT Khairpur, loaded with the Pakistan State Oil (PSO) shipment of motor gasoline (Mogas) from Sohar, Oman, will dock at the FOTCO terminal upon arrival. The consignment is expected to help meet the country’s ongoing petroleum demand. The daily shipping and cargo handling report confirmed that another Mogas carrier MT Deira Ghair is currently berthed at the FOTCO terminal and has already offloaded 32, 000 metric tons of motor gasoline in the last 24 hours against a total manifest quantity of 34, 062 metric tons. READ ALSO: Port Qasim unfazed by Strait of Hormuz tension The vessel is scheduled to sail from the FOTCO berth at 15: 30 hours on Saturday, expecting to clear the way for the incoming oil tanker. The daily statement further revealed that Port Qasim currently has 11 vessels at the wharf.
