In a post on X, Anwar Gargash, diplomatic adviser to the UAE president, said that some media outlets have misinterpreted Abu Dhabi’s positions amid the Iranian aggression in the Gulf. Gargash said that while the UAE has been subjected to attacks aimed at its national interests and critical infrastructure, threatening civilian lives, the country has continued to respond with resolve and efficiency.
