The Ministry of Health of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) announced that the death toll from Ebola had risen to 5, 340, with 10, 351 confirmed cases recorded as of 29th October. In a statement published on its website, the ministry said the case fatality rate stood at 51. 6 percent.
