The story follows Lee Yu-bin (Ji Chang-wook), a successful South Korean spatial designer whose career and finances fall apart after his business partner Kim Bong-su (Jeong Soon-won) scams him. He then travels to Japan, where he meets Karin Shirahama (Mio Imada), a spirited strawberry farmer living on the remote island of Charo.
