Three militants killed in Mir Ali intelligence-based operation

At least three militants were killed in an intelligence-based operation in Mir Ali, North Waziristan, security sources said on Wednesday. A large quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the militants who belonged to the India-backed Fitna Al Khawarij terrorist group. Security forces also destroyed hideouts of Fitna Al Khawarij in Mir Ali and surrounding areas, the sources said. The forces also foiled an attempt by the militants to stop a ration truck near the main bazaar in Mir Ali. Meanwhile, security forces continued operations against the Fitna Al Hindustan terrorist group in Balochistan under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3. In an operation near Mal Madrassa in Surab district of Balochistan, one militant was killed while another fled the scene, security sources said. Weapons and a motorcycle were recovered from the slain militant, according to the sources. Security forces remain committed to eliminating terrorism and establishing lasting peace under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision, the sources said.
