ICAP signs MoU with CAAR

KARACHI/BAKU: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chamber of Auditors of Azerbaijan Republic (CAAR), reinforcing the two institutes’ commitment to strengthening ties between the accountancy and audit professions of Pakistan and Azerbaijan. The memorandum was signed by ICAP President Samiullah Siddiqui and CAAR Chairman Vahid Novruzov, marking a renewed phase of collaboration between the two bodies. The signing took place in Baku, as part of celebrations marking the Chamber of Auditors of Azerbaijan Republic’s 30th anniversary, alongside an international scientific-practical conference on the theme “Stages of Audit Development: The Path from Compliance to Strategic Partnership and Trust. ” ICAP’s participation in the conference reflects the Institute’s continued engagement with global audit and accountancy bodies in advancing professional standards and cross-border cooperation.
