Fauji Foods Limited said Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Usman Zaheer Ahmad has resigned, effective September 18, and that the board will appoint his successor in due course. The listed company disclosed the development in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Monday. “Usman Zaheer Ahmad will continue to perform his duties as CEO of the company till completion of his notice period, as per the company’s policy. The Board of Directors will appoint a new CEO in due course, ” read the notice. “The company extends its sincere gratitude and appreciation to Usman Zaheer Ahmad for his valuable contributions and dedicated service to the company, ” it added. According to information on Usman’s LinkedIn profile, he has served as CEO of Fauji Foods Limited since March 2022, overseeing Fauji Group’s consumer business, which spans dairy, cereals, pasta, and frozen fruits and vegetables across four factories. Prior to this, he was CEO of Nishat Sutas Dairy from April 2019 to March 2022, having been involved in the joint venture between Nishat Group and Turkiye’s Sutas from its inception. Fauji Foods Limited (FFL) was established in 1966 as a public limited company. In 2015, Fauji Foundation and Fauji Fertiliser acquired Noon Pakistan Limited, renaming it Fauji Foods Limited. FFL is part of the Fauji Group, which was founded in 1954 and includes other companies like Fauji Cement, Fauji Fertiliser Bin Qasim Limited, and Fauji Meat Limited. The company processes and sells toned milk, milk powder, fruit juices, and other dairy and food products. Over the years, it has diversified its product portfolio to include value-added items such as cheese, butter, unsalted butter, and Nurpur cream.
