Pak-China Friendship Summer Games logo unveiled

LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar Friday unveiled the logo of Pak-China Friendship Summer Games 2026. Speaking at a press briefing at the National Hockey Stadium on Friday, Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that Pak-China Friendship Games would be held in Lahore to mark the 75th anniversary of Pak-China friendship. “Pak-China Friendship Games would be organized at multiple venues of Nishtar Park Sports Complex from September 24 to 28. ” He said that around 2, 000 athletes from all divisions of Punjab would participate in Pak-China Friendship Games. “Around 70, 000 athletes had appeared in Pak-China Friendship Games trials. ” He added that the top performing athletes of Pak-China Friendship Games would be included in Punjab Sports Endowment Fund on the directions of CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz. “The competitions of Pak-China Friendship Games would be held in 11 games – table tennis, badminton, wushu, tai chi, gymnastics, athletics, basketball, football, tennis, volleyball and weightlifting, ” he said. He further said that Chinese athletes would also participate in the Pak-China Friendship Games. “The prize money amounting to Rs5 million would be distributed among the top performing athletes of the grand event. ” Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that the Youth Affairs and Sports Department Punjab celebrating Pak-China friendship in a befitting manner through a series of activities. “The Pak-China Friendship Games would further strengthen the bond between the two countries. ” Copyright Business Recorder, 2026
