NATS Blames Software Defect for Air Traffic Outage That Cancelled 2,000 Flights

NATS says a software defect caused last week’s air traffic outage that led to 2, 000 flight cancellations. CEO Martin Rolfe said the issue was traced to a small subsection of coding and is not related to the 2023 shutdown or military intervention.
