SC, NADRA sign MoU

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan and the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize and strengthen collaboration for the Supreme Court’s mobile application and website platform services, as part of the apex court’s technology-enabled reform agenda. The MoU was signed by the Registrar, Supreme Court of Pakistan, and NADRA’s Chief Projects Officer. Under the arrangement, NADRA will provide hosting, backend infrastructure, technical support and maintenance for the Court’s website and mobile application, while facilitating approved upgrades and improvements in accordance with the Supreme Court’s requirements. The digital platforms facilitate public access to cause lists, judgments and other authorized judicial and institutional information, enabling litigants, lawyers and the public to access Court information and services more conveniently. NADRA will also continue to provide technical assistance for the Supreme Court’s 1818 Helpline, further strengthening digital connectivity and public facilitation. The collaboration forms part of the Supreme Court’s broader reform agenda to leverage technology for accessible, secure, efficient, and responsive service delivery, while strengthening public connectivity and advancing a more citizen-centric justice system.
