Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF) 2026 Third Reserve Allocation

Against a backdrop of continued hostilities, repeated displacement, deteriorating living conditions and growing humanitarian needs across Lebanon, the Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF) allocated US$23. 4 million through its 2026 Reserve Allocation, complemented by US$12 million from CERF. The design, implementation and monitoring of the allocation were fully aligned with the Flash Appeal framework, enabling a rapid and coordinated response in areas experiencing the highest severity of needs and concentrations of displaced populations. Prioritizing Shelter and Site Management, Food Security, WASH, Health and Nutrition, Protection, and Emergency Livelihoods, the allocation supported partners with demonstrated operational presence and capacity to respond to urgent needs in high-severity locations. Funding was directed to pre-identified partners through an inclusive and consultative process, supporting timely action and strengthened localization, including equitable partnerships with national NGOs and community-based organizations.
