LAHORE – More than 3. 379 million citizens have availed various digital and public service facilities at Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz during the current year. According to police spokesperson more than 1. 2 million citizens obtained general police verification, while over 631, 000 were issued police character certificates. Similarly, more than 927, 000 citizens completed tenant registration. The spokesperson said over 133, 000 citizens obtained medico-legal certificates, while more than 78, 000 people belonging to vulnerable segments of society were provided legal and social protection. As many as 23, 600 citizens obtained vehicle verification, while 67, 465 registered lost document reports and 2, 398 registered crime reports. More than 203, 000 citizens obtained copies of First Information Reports (FIRs), while 56 women violence reports were registered. Over 100, 000 citizens completed Employees Registration (ROPE), while 2, 600 obtained police verification for private employment. Inspector General of Police Abdul Kareem said the Khidmat Marakaz are a flagship public service delivery initiative providing facilities to citizens round the clock.
