Off-price retailer Ministry of Brands opens first Pakistan outlet

The Ministry of Brands, an international off-price retailer, has entered Pakistan, offering global fashion labels at discounted prices. Its first outlet opened in DHA Phase 6, Karachi on Saturday. MOB first launched in Sri Lanka in early 2026 and has since begun its regional expansion into South Asia. “Spread across three floors, the new Karachi destination brings together authentic international high-street, premium and designer brands at discounts of up to 90% off original retail prices, ” MOB Pakistan CEO Noor Mandviwalla said while talking to Business Recorder. The store houses a selection across womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, footwear, handbags and accessories, claiming to be carrying over 2, 000 international names mostly from the US and Europe. The global fashion brands available in Karachi include Ferragamo, Ralph Lauren, Farm Rio, Tory Burch, Rag & Bone, On Running, HOKA, Air Jordan, Michael Kors, Karl Lagerfeld, and Calvin Klein, a separate press statement said. “I would love to expand in Karachi across [the] bridge on different locations in Karachi, ” Mandviwalla said, sharing plans to open 10 to 15 stores across the country, including in Lahore and Islamabad over the next five years. According to the statement, MOB is built around the globally established off-price retail model. It combines accessibility and exceptional value with a constantly changing selection of merchandise that makes every shopping trip a new experience. “For Pakistani consumers accustomed to shopping international high-street and premium brands while travelling abroad, MOB brings that experience closer to home, combining authenticity, accessibility and exceptional value under one roof, ” it read. The statement cited Mandviwalla as saying, “I have always believed that style should be personal, not privileged. MOB was born from the idea that discovering incredible fashion should not require a plane ticket, foreign currency, or an enormous budget”. “We are bringing real brands and remarkable pieces closer to home, at prices that make fashion feel genuinely accessible. What I also love about MOB is the individuality of it – so much of what we carry is limited or one-off, which means you are not just buying what everyone else is wearing. To me, that’s what great style has always been about: not how much you spend, but what you discover and how you make it your own, ” she said.
